PURPOSE

This standard defines the general scope of contactor managed and conducted development flight testing required on airborne systems procured by the military. The objectives of these tests are for the Contractor to develop the structural integrity and the performance and operational capabilities of his product to the point that he is satisfied that the product meets the specification requirements and is ready for Formal Military Evaluation.
