This document has been developed to assist users of American National Standard O5.1.2008 in the inspection of wood utility poles prior to treatment. This document is not a standard, but merely a guide to the standards and specifications. Each wood pole characteristic is alphabetically arranged for ease of use and each image is provided in color.
