Specific objectives include: planning an asset management program that would be predictive, not reactive; creating an updated asset inventory and performing a historical and predictive condition assessment for over $1.2 billion of water system infrastructure using geographic information system (GIS) information and databases; determining key prioritization criteria; and, developing a rolling 6 year asset management plan.
