This slide presentation provides a review of typical maintenance items not always practiced, looks at some basic tasks needed to be performed, and discusses the consequences of not performing these tasks. Topics covered include: recovering revenue directly through water audits, meters (controlling apparent losses), and leaks (controlling real losses); and, saving money with regular maintenance with valve exercising, unidirectional flushing (UDF), and hydrant flow testing.
