This powerpoint presentation begins by providing background information on development of Utility Management Standards. The presentation lists the three developed so far, including: G100, Treatment - final in 2005; G200, Distribution - final in 2004; and, G300, Source Water Protection - in printing. Standards currently under development include: Business Management Practices; Emergency Planning; Security; Communications and Customer Relations; and, Utility Management System Standard. Information is provided on a pilot project and framework development, along with criteria needed to succeed, three options from the Denver workshop, and questions soliciting opinions on AWWA's current approach to creating sustainable utility effectiveness and customer value.
