This powerpoint presentation begins by providing an overview of the region of the Greater Los Angeles County Region, including the complex regional water and environmental issues, and voting statistics on state bond measures. Accomplishments in the development of the Integrated Regional Water Management Strategic Plan (IRWMP) since January 2006 are listed, along with factors that aided in its creation such as: membership and participation in the committees; leadership and sub-regional steering committee responsibilities; providing planning tools to foster development of regional/integrated projects; and, developing quantifiable targets for the next 20 years.
