This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Water Security Division, including past accomplishments, water security priorities, response and recovery, and detection. USEPA support of Water Agency Response Networks (WARN) is presented, the Sample WARN Mutual Aid/Assistance Operational Plan, the Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network (WARN) Tabletop Exercise Facilitator Guide, three exercise scenarios, and Interstate Aid/Assistance via Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC). Presentation conclusions include the following: USEPA's goal is to have a WARN program in all 50 states, leading to a better prepared and more resilient water sector, while providing increased security to one of the nation's critical infrastructures; and, USEPA is fully committed to WARN and supports its development through extensive outreach, facilitation, and technical support.
