This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting a brief overview of California's Proposition 50: Water Security, Clean Drinking Water, Coastal and Beach Protection Act of 2002 (Water Code ?79500 et seq.) that was approved by the California electorate on November 5, 2002. Also, Chapter 6: Contaminant and Salt Removal Technologies (Water Code ?79545 ) is briefly presented, along with Subpart (b): Pilot and Demonstration Projects for Contaminant Removal. Funding criteria for eligible categories of contaminants is presented, along with the funding process, submitting proposals, and the key elements of a proposal.
