This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of Valencia County, New Mexico, and how the issue of population growth has spurred the Water and Wastewater Master Plan Project, a demonstration project for regionalization. The product of community-based planning, the master plan is a comprehensive infrastructure solution that respects the individual character of the communities. The master planning process is outlined, and consists of the following components: Phase 1 - existing conditions and projections; Phase 2 - alternatives and criteria; and, Phase 3 - master plan.
