This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the city of Port St. Lucie and the Port St. Lucie Utility Systems Department and water facilities. Service area growth and future water supplies are presented. To address challenges posed in the existing water supply and treatment, the City selected reverse osmosis (RO) treatment of brackish water from the Floridan Aquifer. The presentation presents the incorporation of two RO treatment facilities: Prineville Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant, initial WTP construction and the expansion to 10 MGD; and, the James E. Anderson RO Water Treatment Plant, site master planning, Phases 1&2 - construction, Phase 3 - expansion. Includes tables, figures.
