This slide presentation outlines an effort by the city of Minneapolis to cleaning and line 10 miles of water main per year. The project purpose was to: improve water quality (rusty water) in the distribution system; improve C-factor, increase volume and reduce friction; and, keep down costs by rehabilitation rather than replacement if water main is structurally sound.
