This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of a GIS study performed to identify and evaluate shutoff valves. The initial work determined: total number of shutoffs (16133); number of valves required for each (1-24); number of customers affected ( 0-1185); and, downstream areas placed out of water. Pressure dependent demands theory and calibration are presented, along with data preparation, hydraulic model description, limitations, solution in context, future plans, and study requirements.
