This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of prior research on the Water Smart Reader conservation tool. Topics covered in this presentation include: evaluate program and examine how people were using the device; unlike WWA-Aurora Water research, something that could be accomplished with limited time and resources; provided an interim information gathering opportunity until Phase II of WWA-Aurora Water can be accomplished; and, "under the radar-home grown study". The Water Smart Reader (WSR) is a small radio frequency device that can read a water meter from a distance, and is the size of a stud sensor or garage door opener. The history of the program is presented, along with the current program organization, customer phone survey and findings of survey, and future implications. Includes figures.
