This slide presentation outlines the AwwaRF Source Water Protection Manual, whose pupose is to help public utilities protect source water through watershed management. The history of the project is outlined along with information that has been developed since Version 1.0 was published in 1996. The four main categories of the new source water protection manual are discussed and include: best management practices (BMPs); planning; regulations; and, water supplier experience.
