BS 4828:1985

Gives guidance on the measurement of partial discharges occuring in electrical insulation during tests with alternating voltage. Also includes some special characteristics of partial discharge measurements under direct voltage. The standard is principally intended as a general guide to the drafting of specifications for specific apparatus.Replaced by BS EN 60270:2001 but remains current.
