Conserving Energy at Semiconductor Factory

The operating cost, industrial city waterconsumption and carbon footprint were reduced for three systems in an existingsemiconductor factory. Measures used include retrofitting chiller variablespeed drives and re-piping air compressors to use warmer chilled water returnrather than cooler chilled water supply.
