To this end it a) Specifies the use of Dynamic Reservation Entries (8.8.7) in the filtering database to control the forwarding of frames associated with a particular Stream. b) Specifies a Stream Reservation Protocol (SRP). SRP facilitates the registration, de-registration and maintenance of stream reservation information in relevant bridges to establish end-to-end stream paths. Amendment Standard - Superseded.
