This standard applies to enclosure security and coating requirements for coastal and non-coastal environments The purpose of this standard is to describe the requirements for a comprehensive integrity system for enclosures of pad-mounted, pole-mounted, and submersible switchgear and associated controls in order to provide long service life with minimum maintenance.
