Presidential Address: Building Our New Energy Future

2018–19 ASHRAE President Sheila J. Hayter, P.E., announced herpresidential theme and mission of "Building Our New Energy Future"during her presidential address in Houston. As buildings represent more than 70%of the electrical load in developed countries, Hayter wants ASHRAE to lead theway to a new energy future that connects buildings, energy and the environment.
