Residential Applications: Attached Garages and IAQ

To better understand the dynamics of garage contaminant generation and transport, an ASHRAE-funded field investigation was conducted on five homes in central Illinois, intentionally including a diverse assortment of attached garage configurations. This column discusses the findings and outlines best practices for providing good IAQ in attached garages.
