Retro-Commissioning A Hospital for Sustainability, Cost Savings

In 2021, Mercy Health began collecting energy and utility data from older facilities to analyze building performance and meet its moral obligation to prioritize sustainability for the health and well-being of their communities. The subsequent retro-commissioning of Lourdes Hospital, a 560,000 ft² (52 026 m²), 306-bed regional hospital in Paducah, Ky., provided sustainability improvements without breaking the budget.
