This specification defines requirements for a high gloss paint system for use on civil aircraft.

This product is used typically for contact with external surfaces of civil aircraft, but usage is not limited to such applications. Each application should be considered separately. This standard may also be used as a basis for special coatings such as anti-erosion, anti-slip, semi-gloss and matte coatings.
