SAE AS4060

This SAE Aerospace Standard defines the swaging process and the roller expander qualification requirements for the attachment of tube fitting to tubing used in low pressure systems of aircraft.

The purpose of this document is to establish the criteria for the successful swaging of standard aircraft tubing into the AS ferrules and bodies and meet the performance requirements as called out in SAE AS1650, AS1710, and AS1730.
