The scope of this document is to specify the security requirements, architecture and mechanisms to restrict the use of a cdma2000 access subscription to a specific cdma2000 device or to a group of devices within cdma2000 systems. The scope is limited only to normal operations. Handling of error cases and unsuccessful scenarios resulting from protocol failures are described in other relevant standards.
