Scope

This clause of Part 1 is applicable except as follows:

First sentence

Replacement:

This standard applies to hand-held electric motor-operated sanders.

Sanders with water supply, random orbit sanders, and random orbit polishers are within the scope of this standard.

Disc-type sanders are covered by Part 2-3
