Specifies requirements for design, manufacture, marking, and testing of flat synthetic-webbing slings. This Standard does not include cargo-control and tie-down devices (used in aircraft and other transport systems) which are not intended for load-lifting purposes, or personnel-lifting equipment. Guidance on information to be supplied with enquiries and orders is given in an appendix.
