1.1This test method describes the measurement for bursting strength with a ball burst strength tester of textiles or garments that exhibit a high degree of ultimate elongation.

1.2The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as the standard. Within the test, the inch-pound units are shown in parentheses.
