In this powerpoint presentation, the author updates information on lawn irrigation that was published in several articles in the Journal of the American Water Works Association and elsewhere. Five topics are presented related to lawn and landscape water use reduction, and include: limit the number of watering days per week or month; reduce area allowed for irrigation; upgrade Xeriscape principles; stop the escalating lawn chemical-watering cycle; and, promote natural lawns and landscapes by irrigating with rainwater only.
