This powerpoint presentation begins by introducing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Arsenic Demonstration Program that included three sets of demonstration projects, and focused on commercially ready technologies or engineering approaches. The arsenic removal technologies used in the study are listed, along with a breakdown of adsorptive media and cost. Results of performance of adsorptive media systems are presented and summarized as follows: adsorptive media can remove arsenic from drinking water, but the capacity of the media varies with a number of factors including the type of media, water quality, and system design and operation.
