Introduces a new concept for whole product batch appraisal with checking of manufacturers' claims for compliance. Applies to ordinary frosted or clear lamps having a nominal life of 1000 h, 100-250 V, ratings from 25 to 1500 W and fitted with bayonet or Edison screw caps. Identical with IEC 60064 except in two places where safety requirements were referred to.
