Applies primarily to wells of between 250 m and 3000 m depth with subsurface conditions up to 350oC. Covers drilling, operation, maintenance, repair and abandonment and comprises well design, site preparation, drilling equipment, tools, materials and practices. It includes all subsurface work plus the wellhead up to the top flange of the master valve.
