NZS 4251.1:2007

Sets out the requirements for solid plaster, and stucco over a drained and vented cavity with a rigid or non-rigid backing in buildings, to achieve structurally sound, hard, durable and water resistant surfaces. This revision has introduced the requirement of cavity behind the plaster and applies to exterior and interior walls where impact loads are limited to soft body impacts associated with domestic use.
