This 5th edition of DIN Handbook 3 covers a broad spectrum of mechanical engineering topics, with particular emphasis being placed on the basic, most commonly used construction elements and materials.

Included are 45 standards (DIN, DIN EN, DIN EN ISO, DIN ISO and ISO Standards) dealing with:

• fasteners
• rolling bearings
• springs
• power transmission elements
• steel
• cast iron

Compared to the 4th edition of DIN Handbook 3, two standards are included for the first time and 12 standards are revisions.
